Training Village 1: The Latest Technological Breakthrough in Pacemaker Lead Technology for LBBAP Procedures

More precise pacemaker leads equipped with features that conform to the human anatomy

Training Village 1 was held at Artpreneur, Ciputra World, on the first day of the 13th Annual Scientific Meeting of InaHRS 2026, showcasing innovations in cardiovascular medical technology. This year’s featured devices were the UltiPace™ Pacing Lead and CPS Locator™ 3D Catheters, manufactured by Abbott in collaboration with PT Tawada Healthcare (THC) as the distributor. The UltiPace™ Pacing Lead is designed to connect the myocardium with a pacemaker, enabling electrical sensing and stimulation to support cardiac rhythm in patients with bradycardia or AV block. Its design incorporates a reinforced outer layer for durability and a SurGrip™ Suture Sleeve to help secure the lead during implantation. Meanwhile, the CPS Locator™ 3D Catheters are designed to facilitate lead placement during left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP). Featuring three anatomical curves, the catheter helps physicians navigate the cardiac structures with greater precision and efficiency during the procedure. Together, these technologies demonstrate the continued development of tools aimed at improving the accuracy, stability, and efficiency of conduction system pacing procedures.
